What is a non-owners/named operators policy?
It's a liability insurance policy for a person who is required by the State to provide proof of auto insurance when they do not own a car.
If I own a car can I purchase a Non-Owners insurance to save money?
The State requires that the vehicles registered in your name be listed on the SR-22 or the vehicles can be impounded if on the street.
Do you provide insurance for the Drivers License Reinstatement Program?
Yes, we can provide you the coverages required by the County Attorney whether you own a car or not. We can fax proof to the County
Attorney for the Drivers License Reinstatement Program at your request.
Do you have monthly pay plans?
Yes, we have a number of pay plans including monthly. We also have discounts for policies paid in full for 6 months.
What discounts do your companies offer?
We have these discounts available:
- prior period discount - provided you have proof of continuous insurance for a minimum of the prior 6 months without a lapse of over 30 days
- homeowners discount
- multi-vehicle discount

How long will I need an SR-22?
That is determined by the State of Iowa, Dept of Transportation. Normally it is for a period of 2 years from the date of suspension.
How quickly can I get an SR-22 filed with the State of Iowa?
Upon receipt of payment for the SR-22 Insurance the SR-22 will be faxed immediately to the DOT.
Can I get an SR-22 if I don't own a car?
Yes. There is a Named Operators/Non-Owners SR-22, specifically for those that do not own cars. The premium is usually cheaper for
non owners insurance.
Can I have full coverage insurance if I need SR-22?
Yes. You can purchase whatever coverages that you need including full coverage on an SR-22 policy.
Does an SR-22 insurance cost more than regular insurance?
Most companies do not have a specific charge for the SR-22, but the insurance rates are based on your past driving record. The more
tickets and accidents on your record in the last 3 years the higher your insurance rates will be.
